Cameron began his insurance career in Newcastle NSW with a large domestic insurer.  From there he held a number of underwriting roles with both an international insurer, and Lloyd's syndicate, prior to joining Liberty's Sydney Casualty team in 2018.

Cameron holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Newcastle and is a Fellow of ANZIIF.

Daniel joined Liberty in 2011 and is based in Melbourne.  He is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF.

Jack manages the Liberty MMA Casualty portfolio of business nationally.

Personal profile

Jack joined Liberty in 2013 with a background in project management in the commercial construction industry.  In his first role with Liberty, as assistant underwriter, he focused on the demolition and asbestos facility, but since becoming an underwriter in 2016, he has dealt with an open market book of Casualty business.

Currently Jack is a Senior Underwriter and he manages Liberty's National MMA Casualty portfolio.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Construction Management from the University of Newcastle.

Janet joined Liberty in 2009.  She has over 39 years’ experience in the insurance industry, beginning her career working with global insurers and broking houses in London before immigrating and joining Liberty in Australia.

Jenna joined Liberty in 2023, with more than 10 years’ experience in casualty underwriting within the Australian general insurance market.

Jenna's qualifications include a B International Business/Bachelor Commerce, ANZIFF Tier 1.

As Head of Casualty Asia Pacific, John has overall responsibility for technical underwriting and portfolio management of the primary and excess liability lines across Liberty’s Asia Pacific Casualty business.

Personal Profile

John started his insurance career in 1988 in the United Kingdom with Royal Insurance and has been working in liability business ever since.

He relocated to Australia in 1991, working in Perth and Melbourne before joining Liberty’s Melbourne team in 2002.  John subsequently moved to Sydney with Liberty where he is based today.

John is an Associate of ANZIIF.

Responsible for managing the NSW Casualty team as well as underwriting for both international and non-international brokers.  Additional responsibilities include management over our facility portfolios, including Ensurance Construction and Demolition and Asbestos Removalists.

John began his insurance career in 1997 as a broker with a local brokerage in Armidale, Northern NSW.  Nine years later, John transitioned into underwriting when he moved to Sydney and began writing Crisis Management policies for a large international insurer.  In July 2008, John joined the Liberty Casualty team.

John holds a Diploma of Financial Services and is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF.

Kate joined Liberty in 2019 in the Casualty Melbourne team. Prior to joining Liberty, Kate worked as a commercial broker in both regional and metro broking teams.

She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science from La Trobe University.

Joining Liberty in 2024, Lucas has over 15 years’ experience in Casualty underwriting across Australia.

Lucas' qualifications include a Bachelor of Business, ANZIIF Diploma of General Insurance, and Senior Associate affiliation with ANZIIF.

As Casualty & PFR Manager (Queensland), Mark oversees all Casualty, Professional Indemnity, D&O and Financial Institution business being written from the Brisbane office. He also holds positions on the APAC Casualty Wording Committee and Policy Wording Committee.

Mark has over 35 years of general insurance experience.  Before joining Liberty in 2003, he was a commercial development manager for a major international insurer, and had underwriting responsibility for property, liability and commercial motor products generated through middle market intermediaries.

For a few years after joining Liberty, Mark managed the developing portfolio of affinity business being written from the Brisbane office; more recently, his focus has been on open-market Casualty accounts, including construction.

Mark was appointed Queensland Casualty Manager in November 2017.

Matthew manages the upstream Exploration & Production Casualty portfolio across the Asia Pacific Region.  He is also the South Australia branch manager, in which role he oversees all branch operations, including branch Casualty business.  In addition, he is responsible for promoting Liberty Adelaide’s cross-lines approach to business.

Matthew has 30 years of underwriting and broking experience - focused mainly on corporate national and international clients - in both Australia and Asia (specifically, Vietnam).  He joined Liberty in January 2011.

Personal Profile

Oliver joined Liberty in 2022. He began his insurance career underwriting both traditional casualty and innovative sharing economy risks for a Lloyd’s Syndicate in London. Since moving to Australia in 2019, he has worked as a casualty underwriter.

Oliver holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Durham University in the UK.

Ravneel joined Liberty in 2024 with over 5 years experience in the insurance industry.  Starting as an Underwriting Assistant, Ravneel has progressed into roles that has provided exposure to various segments as a Casualty Underwriter across SME and Mid-market accounts. He has a sound knowledge of different market conditions and is able to provide solutions that cater for Liberty's partners and clients.

Personal profile

Richard began his insurance career in New Zealand 30 years ago.  When he joined Liberty in July 2013, he had spent the previous decade as the Queensland liability manager and liability product specialist (Casualty) for a large Australian insurer. Prior to that, he held various senior underwriting roles — with an emphasis on corporate Property and Construction insurance — for a major international insurer.

Richard is a Senior Associate and Certified Insurance Professional with ANZIIF.

Personal Profile

Stephanie joined Liberty in 2021 with over eight years’ experience working with global insurers in both underwriting and account Management. 

Stephanie has been been underwriting for corporate and commercial clients in the Australian market since 2017.  Originally from Perth, Stephanie worked in the Victorian market for four years before returning to Perth.
