Manages the NSW Casualty team.
Alan has been with Liberty since February 2001 and was previously a senior account executive at Marsh Dublin.
He holds a first class honours degree in Insurance & Risk Management from the University of Limerick, Ireland, and holds the Chartered Associateship qualification from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London.
Angelo is the head of Casualty in Asia. Based in Melbourne, he leads our liability teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and China.
Angelo joined Liberty in 2009 in Melbourne as the head of Casualty Risk Engineering across Asia Pacific, before relocating to Perth where he added the role of Branch Manager of Western Australia to his responsibilities. Angelo has dealt with clients across construction, manufacturing, oil & gas, chemical plants, rail transport and infrastructure.
He holds Civil Engineering qualifications from RMIT, and a Graduate Diploma in Business Management.

Cameron began his insurance career in Newcastle NSW with a large domestic insurer. From there he held a number of underwriting roles with both an international insurer, and Lloyd's syndicate, prior to joining Liberty's Sydney Casualty team in 2018.
Cameron holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University of Newcastle and is a Fellow of ANZIIF.
As the head of Casualty for Victoria, Daniel manages all the Casualty business for Victoria and Tasmania being written out of the Melbourne office.
Daniel has over 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry including corporate broking, placement and underwriting roles.
Daniel joined Liberty in 2011 and is based in Melbourne. He is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF.
Jack manages the Liberty MMA Casualty portfolio of business nationally.
Jack joined Liberty in 2013 with a background in project management in the commercial construction industry. In his first role with Liberty, as assistant underwriter, he focused on the demolition and asbestos facility, but since becoming an underwriter in 2016, he has dealt with an open market book of Casualty business.
Currently Jack is a Senior Underwriter and he manages Liberty's National MMA Casualty portfolio.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Construction Management from the University of Newcastle.
As Vice President for Casualty Asia Pacific, John has overall responsibility for technical underwriting and portfolio management of the primary and excess liability lines across Liberty’s Asia Pacific Casualty business.
John started his insurance career in 1988 in the United Kingdom with Royal Insurance and has been working in liability business ever since.
He relocated to Australia in 1991, working in Perth and Melbourne for MMI / Allianz before joining Liberty’s Melbourne team in 2002. John subsequently moved to Sydney with Liberty where he is based today.
Responsible for managing the NSW Casualty team as well as underwriting for both international and non-international brokers. Additional responsibilities include management over our facility portfolios, including Ensurance Construction and Demolition and Asbestos Removalists.
John began his insurance career in 1997 as a broker with a local brokerage in Armidale, Northern NSW. Nine years later, John transitioned into underwriting when he moved to Sydney and began writing Crisis Management policies for a large international insurer. In July 2008, John joined the Liberty Casualty team.
John holds a Diploma of Financial Services and is a Senior Associate of ANZIIF.
Assistant Vice President - Queensland Casualty Manager
As Casualty Manager (Queensland), Mark oversees all Casualty business being written from the Liberty Brisbane office.
Mark has over 30 years of general insurance experience. Before joining Liberty in 2003, he was a commercial development manager for a major international insurer, and had underwriting responsibility for property, liability and commercial motor products generated through middle market intermediaries.
For a few years after joining Liberty, Mark managed the developing portfolio of affinity business being written from the Brisbane office; more recently, his focus has been on open-market Casualty accounts, including construction.
Mark was appointed Queensland Casualty Manager in November 2017.
Assistant Vice President, Casualty & SA Branch Manager
Matthew manages the upstream Exploration & Production Casualty portfolio across the Asia Pacific Region. He is also the South Australia branch manager, in which role he oversees all branch operations, including branch Casualty business. In addition, he is responsible for promoting Liberty Adelaide’s cross-lines approach to business.
Matthew has 30 years of underwriting and broking experience - focused mainly on corporate national and international clients - in both Australia and Asia (specifically, Vietnam). He joined Liberty in January 2011.
Matthew holds a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking).
Assistant Vice President & Casualty Manager for Western Australia.
Neville has worked in the insurance industry since 1981, holding various roles across underwriting, claims and broking. He has led liability and marine portfolios in Western Australia for several insurers, and also has seven years of experience managing a small underwriting agency handling liability insurance as a Lloyd's cover holder. Neville joined Liberty in June 2017.
Based in the Melbourne office, Oliver underwrites corporate and commercial Casualty business across Victoria and Tasmania.
Oliver joined Liberty in 2022. He began his insurance career underwriting both traditional casualty and innovative sharing economy risks for a Lloyd’s Syndicate in London. Since moving to Australia in 2019, he has worked as a casualty underwriter.
Oliver holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Durham University in the UK.
As a senior Casualty underwriter, Richard’s main focus is on expanding the corporate, commercial and Construction (liability) business written out of the Brisbane office.
Richard began his insurance career in New Zealand 30 years ago. When he joined Liberty in July 2013, he had spent the previous decade as the Queensland liability manager and liability product specialist (Casualty) for a large Australian insurer. Prior to that, he held various senior underwriting roles — with an emphasis on corporate Property and Construction insurance — for a major international insurer.
Richard is a Senior Associate and Certified Insurance Professional with ANZIIF.
Stephanie underwrites corporate and commercial Casualty business across Western Australia.
Stephanie joined Liberty in 2021 with over eight years’ experience working with global insurers in both underwriting and account Management.
Stephanie has been been underwriting for corporate and commercial clients in the Australian market since 2017. Originally from Perth, Stephanie worked in the Victorian market for four years before returning to Perth.
Jessica manages a portfolio of Casualty claims, and provides support for Liberty's Casualty Fast Track claims initiative.
Jessica joined Liberty in 2015, having previously worked as a claims adjuster for a personal Accident & Health insurer and later as a claims consultant with a top-tier brokerage firm, where she specialised in Industrial Special Risks, Public and Product Liability, Contract Works, engineering, Marine, ‘expat’/’inpat’ and travel claims.
Jessica holds ANZIIF Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualifications (Providing Customer Advice and Insurance Law & Regulation) and is an affiliate member of ANZIIF.
Based in Melbourne, Natalie manages a variety of Casualty claims, her portfolio largely consisting of personal injury and property damage claims.
Natalie has 8 years of experience in the insurance industry and has practiced as a solicitor in the Melbourne insurance team of a national law firm. Prior to this, Natalie worked at a specialized insurer for 2 years managing a portfolio of sensitive claims. She joined Liberty in April 2019.
Natalie has a Bachelor of Laws and is admitted to practice in Victoria.
Natasha manages a variety of Casualty claims out of the Melbourne office.
Natasha has over 10 years' experience in the insurance industry. Natasha practiced as a solicitor in an insurance focused firm in Melbourne, where she acted for insurers and advised on litigated claims, predominantly involving public and products liability. Natasha then worked at a specialised insurer for 4 years, managing a portfolio of sensitive claims, before joining Liberty in July 2018.
Natasha has experience in managing complex personal injury, property damage and product liability claims, with significant experience in the handling of sensitive claims and psychiatric injuries.
Natasha has a Bachelor of Laws and is admitted to practice in Victoria.
Samantha is a Senior Claims Specialist based in the Sydney office. She manages Casualty claims across Australia for a broad range of insureds, including in the construction, government, rail, religious organization and sports sectors.
Prior to joining Liberty in May 2019, Samantha was an insurance litigation lawyer with over 17 years of experience, with a particular expertise in complex multi-party liability disputes. She has worked with global and domestic insurers and companies in the construction, property and hospitality industries.
Samantha holds a Bachelor of Laws degree, a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She has held a NSW practising certificate since 2007.

Sui joined in February 2022. Based in Sydney, she manages the casualty claims team across Australia working collaboratively with underwriting, claims, risk engineers and external stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions for Liberty’s clients.
With 20 years of casualty claims experience working for global insurers in the corporate and specialty space, Sui understands the market dynamics in which insurers and clients operate. Her technical proficiency, customer focus, and pragmatic approach in managing complex and large losses in the construction, government and retail segments are highly regarded.
Sui holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business degree and is admitted as a legal practitioner in NSW.
