Liberty’s rapid response, collaboration and a proactive approach helped resolve an urgent situation for the Alchin Long Group.
Fourteen tons of beach sand was unintentionally pumped onto the roof of our client’s industrial property in Western Sydney, resulting in a significant sand loading event. Heavy rainfall exacerbated the situation, increasing the weight and causing structural damage to the roof, with more heavy rain predicted.
At Liberty, our primary focus is on our clients. And when they make a claim, we work proactively and collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure they can return to business as soon as possible.
When our Property Claims Team were notified, they acted swiftly to ensure the safety of workers from a potential roof collapse, while also safeguarding the community from silica dust and protecting the tenant’s factory equipment.
Thanks to the team's prompt response, service providers were on-site within 24 hours. A thorough site inspection was carried out, and safety measures were implemented within 72 hours. Following the receipt of local government approvals, and after rain delays, repair work began and was successfully completed within a week.
